Rakshita Suresh, born on June 1, 1998, is an Indian playback singer known for her work in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Telugu cinema. She gained recognition through various music talent shows and has established herself as a versatile singer.
Rakshita's musical journey began at the age of 4 when she started learning music. She received training in Carnatic Music, Hindustani Classical music, and Light Music. Her talent and passion for singing led her to participate in several reality shows.
In Kannada, she appeared on shows like "Yede Thumbi Haduvenu" on ETV and "Junior Super Stars" on Star Vijay (Tamil). She emerged as the winner on "Rhythm Tadheem" aired on ETV Kannada and became the Title Winner of "Little Star Singer" in 2009, which was aired on Asianet Suvarna (Kannada). In 2018, she was the first runner-up on the reality show "Super Singer 6" aired on Star Vijay (Tamil), which garnered her significant attention.
Rakshita made her debut as a playback singer with renowned composer Ilayaraja. Since then, she has lent her voice to numerous songs in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Telugu. Her Telugu debut song was recorded in 2015 for the film "Yevade Subramanyam" starring Nani. She has also performed solo concerts both in India and abroad, including the "Mysuru Yuva Dasara" event.
In Bollywood, Rakshita made her debut with the song "Yaane Yaane" composed by A.R. Rahman for the movie "Mimi."
