Priya Himesh, also known as Priya Hemesh, is an Indian playback singer known for her work in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Odia films. She has contributed her vocals to over 200 songs and has collaborated with several prominent music directors including Ilaiyaraaja, Harris Jayaraj, Imman, Vijay Antony, Devi Sri Prasad, Yuvan Shankar Raja, Mani Sharma, Karthik Raja, Bharadwaj, Dhina, and many others.
Priya's journey in music began in 1989 when she started singing in light music orchestras. She has performed in more than 5000 stage shows with leading orchestras in India and overseas, showcasing her talent and captivating audiences.
