Mridula Warrier is an Indian playback singer hailing from Kerala. She began her career as a playback singer in the Malayalam film "Big B" in 2007. Since then, she has also recorded songs for Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada films. Mridula achieved recognition by winning the Kairali TV Gandharva Sangeetham competition in 2005 and becoming the first runner-up in Idea Star Singer in 2010.
Mridula Warrier was born in Kozhikode to P. V. Ramankutty Varier and M. T. Vijayalakshmy. Her musical journey began at the age of four when she started learning music and participating in music competitions alongside her brother Jaideep Varier. She completed her bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from KMCT College of Engineering in 2009.
In her personal life, Mridula married Dr. Arun Varier on 7 January 2013. They have a daughter named Maithreyi Varier, born in June 2016.
Apart from her playback singing career, Mridula has actively participated in various television music contests. In 2004, she took part in the musical contest "Saptaswarangal" on Asianet and secured the first runner-up position. The following year, she participated in "Onnam Raagam," a musical contest on Doordarshan, and emerged as the winner.
One of her notable achievements in the television contest realm was being the first runner-up in the fifth season of "Idea Star Singer" in 2010.
