K. V. Guhan is an Indian cinematographer and director known for his work in Tamil and Telugu cinema. He hails from Chennai, India, and is the younger brother of renowned Tamil film director Saran. Guhan has collaborated with director Radha Mohan on two notable Tamil films, "Mozhi" (2007) and "Payanam" (2011). His cinematography in films like "Athadu" (2005), "Jalsa" (2008), "Dookudu" (2011), "Baadshah" (2013), and "Aagadu" (2014) has been widely appreciated.
In addition to his cinematography work, Guhan ventured into direction and made his directorial debut in 2010 with the film "Inidhu Inidhu," which was a remake of the Telugu film "Happy Days" (2007). The film was produced by Prakash Raj under his banner Duet Movies. Guhan has also directed Telugu films such as "118" (2019), "WWW" (2021), and "Highway" (2022).
Before establishing himself as a cinematographer, Guhan worked as an assistant under the renowned cinematographer P. C. Sreeram. His exceptional work on the film "Dookudu" (2011) earned him a nomination for the SIIMA Award for Best Cinematographer (Telugu) at the 1st SIIMA Awards in 2011.
