Cinematography
Jomon T. John ISC, born on February 17, 1982, is an Indian cinematographer and producer primarily working in Malayalam cinema. He made his debut as a cinematographer with the film "Chaappa Kurishu" in 2011. Jomon received the Kerala State Film Award for Best Cinematography in 2015 for his outstanding work in the films "Nee-Na," "Ennu Ninte Moideen," and "Charlie."
Jomon is known for his work in several well-known films, including "Beautiful" (2011), "Thattathin Marayathu" (2012), "Ayalum Njanum Thammil" (2012), "Vikramadithyan" (2014), "Ennu Ninte Moideen" (2015), "Charlie" (2015), "Jacobinte Swargarajyam" (2016), and "Thanneer Mathan Dinangal" (2019). He has also worked on Hindi films such as "Golmaal Again" (2017), "Simmba" (2018), and "Sooryavanshi" (2020). In addition to his cinematography work, Jomon made his debut as a producer by co-producing the film "Thanneer Mathan Dinangal." He is also a member of the Indian Society of Cinematographers.
Jomon completed his diploma in cinematography from the Government Film and Television Institute in Bangalore. He initially started his career in the advertising film industry before making his debut as a cinematographer in the feature film "Chaappa Kurishu" directed by Sameer Thahir.
