Varun Badola, born on January 7, 1974, is an Indian actor primarily known for his work in television. He comes from a family with a creative background, as his father, Vishwa Mohan Badola, is a renowned artist. Varun has two elder sisters, Alka and Kalindi, with Alka being known for her appearances in TV serials like "Kumkum" and "Qubool Hai." The Badola family hails from Garhwal, Uttarakhand.
Varun spent his early childhood in Allahabad before moving to New Delhi. He completed his schooling at Sardar Patel Vidyalaya in New Delhi. Following college, he pursued his ambition to become an actor. Initially, Varun worked as a costume coordinator and gained experience in writing and directing. He assisted Tigmanshu Dhulia in films like "Haasil" and "Charas," in addition to acting in them. Eventually, he took a break from directing to focus on his acting career and was offered the television serial "Astitva.. Ek Prem Kahani."

He gained fame for his portrayal of a mentally disabled character in the TV show "Koshish." Varun has also showcased his singing and dancing skills on reality television shows like "Nach Baliye 2," where he participated with his wife Rajeshwari and reached the semi-finals. He is known for his hard work and dedication, earning him the nickname "television's Aamir Khan."
Varun and his wife Rajeshwari Sachdev collaborated for the first time on a play called "Shabd Leela," which was based on Dr. Dharamveer Bharati's love letters to his wife. Varun has also participated in the Celebrity Cricket League as a member of the team Mumbai Heroes.
Varun Badola married Rajeshwari Sachdev, a dancer/singer/actress, on November 24, 2004. They first met on the sets of the television show "Antakshari" and got engaged the same year. The couple has a son who was born on May 10, 2010. Varun also owns a farmhouse in his native Uttarakhand, located in Bhabher, Kotdwar
