Sudhanshu Pandey is an Indian model, film and television actor, singer, writer, and producer. He was born on August 22, 1974. Sudhanshu is best known for his portrayal of Vanraj Shah in the television series "Anupamaa" and its prequel web series "Anupama: Namaste America."
He began his career in the early 1990s as a model. In 1998, he made his television debut with the show "Kanyadaan." Sudhanshu's first film was "Khiladi 420," where he played a parallel lead alongside Akshay Kumar. In 1999, he featured in the song "Maikhane se Sharab se" from Pankaj Udhas's album "Mahek." Sudhanshu was also a part of India's first-ever music band called A Band of Boys. However, he left the band in 2005 to focus on his financial stability.
Throughout the 2010s, Sudhanshu regularly appeared in Tamil cinema. He portrayed the main villain in films such as "Billa II" (2012) starring Ajith Kumar, "Meaghamann" (2014), "Indrajith" (2017), and "2.0" (2018), which was the most expensive Indian film at the time of its release.
Sudhanshu has his own production house called Raw Stock Production Private Limited. Under this banner, he produced his first single titled "Teri Adaa" in 2018, for which he was also the lyricist. He also produced a short film called "Fitrat" in 2021, in collaboration with Tahir Baig.
Since 2020, Sudhanshu has been portraying the character of Vanraj Shah in the popular television series "Anupamaa." This role has gained him significant popularity among Hindi-speaking audiences. In 2022, he reprised his role as Vanraj Shah in the prequel web series "Anupama: Namaste America," which streams on Disney+ Hotstar.
In 2023, Sudhanshu produced his second solo single titled "Dil Ki Tu Zameen," which stars Madalsa Sharma Chakraborty.
In his personal life, Sudhanshu is married to Mona Pandey, and the couple has two sons named Nirvaan and Vivaan Pandey.
