Sumedh Mudgalkar is an Indian film and television actor, as well as a dancer. He was born on November 2, 1996. Sumedh is best known for his roles as Shushim in "Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat," Lord Krishna in "RadhaKrishn," and Darkie in the Disney+ Hotstar series "Escaype Live."
He began his career in dancing and made his dance debut on the Marathi reality show "Dance Maharashtra Dance" in 2012 when he was 15 years old. He also participated in "Dance India Dance" (Season 4) in 2013 and reached the finals, finishing as the 3rd runner-up.
In terms of acting, Sumedh made his debut in the Channel V youth show "Dil Dosti Dance," where he portrayed the role of Raghavendra "Raghav" Pratap Singh. He gained recognition for his portrayal of the main antagonist, Yuvraj Sushim, in the historical drama "Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat."
Sumedh then ventured into the Marathi film industry with a cameo in the 2016 film "Ventilator" and appeared in the film "Manjha" as the main antagonist and lead actor, playing the role of a psychopath named Vicky. He has also appeared in other Marathi films such as "Bucket List" and "Mann Yedyagat Zaala."
From October 2018 to January 2023, Sumedh played the role of Lord Krishna, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Rama in the television series "RadhaKrishn." In 2021, he reprised his role of Lord Vishnu in the prequel series "Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki." He also appeared as Darkie in the web series "Escaype Live" on Disney+ Hotstar.
In addition to acting and dancing, Sumedh made his singing debut in March 2023 with the single "Mere Paas Tum Raho," where he appeared alongside Ambika Devi in the music video.
Most recently, from May to June 2023, Sumedh portrayed the role of Hatim al-Tai in Sony SAB's "Ali Baba" opposite Srishti Jain.
