Vijay Raghavendra, a prominent Indian actor in Kannada cinema, gained recognition as "Chinnari Mutha." Born to a family of film personalities, including uncle Dr. Rajkumar, he began his career as a child artist, impressing audiences with performances in movies like "Chinnari Mutha" and "Kotreshi Kanasu," which won him the National Film Award for Best Child Artist. His lead role in "Ninagagi" (2002) marked his entry into adult roles and was a hit.
Despite initial setbacks, his portrayal in films like "Kallarali Hoovagi" and "Sevanthi Sevanthi" caught attention. He ventured into directing with "Kismath" (2018). Vijay secured acclaim for his portrayal of Puttaraj Gawai in "Shivayogi Sri Puttayyajja," earning the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Actor.
In 2013, Vijay triumphed in the debut season of the reality show "Bigg Boss" in its Kannada version. His journey encompassed around eight films as a child artist, formal acting training, and diverse roles in movies like "Kotra Highschoolige Seriddu," "Ninagagi," and "Shivayogi Sri Puttayyajja.
