Nivetha Pethuraj is an Indian actress who predominantly appears in Telugu and Tamil films. She was born on November 30, 1991, in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. Her father has a mixed Tamil and Telugu ancestry, while her mother is Tamil. After her birth, her family moved to Kovilpatti, where she completed her early schooling. At the age of 11, she relocated to Dubai with her parents and studied at Crescent English High School. She spent about 10 years in Dubai before pursuing her management degree from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh.

In 2015, Nivetha Pethuraj won the title of Miss India UAE and went on to participate in Miss India Worldwide 2015, where she reached the finals and finished in the top 5.

Nivetha made her acting debut with the Tamil film "Oru Naal Koothu" in 2016, where she played the role of an IT professional opposite Dinesh. Her performance received positive reviews, with critics praising her engaging portrayal. She then appeared in two films in 2017: "Podhuvaga Emmanasu Thangam" opposite Udhayanidhi Stalin and "Mental Madhilo," her Telugu debut, opposite Sree Vishnu. Her performance in "Mental Madhilo" was highly acclaimed, and she was praised for her terrific acting skills.

In 2018, Nivetha had two releases. She portrayed an army official in the Tamil film "Tik Tik Tik" alongside Jayam Ravi, which was a commercial success. She also starred as a Sub-Inspector in "Thimiru Pudichavan" opposite Vijay Antony. Her performance in both films garnered positive feedback.

In 2019, Nivetha appeared in three films, including the Telugu movie "Chitralahari" alongside Sai Dharam Tej. She received appreciation for her portrayal of a corporate executive in the film. She also signed the Tamil film "Sangathamizhan" starring Vijay Sethupathi.

In 2020, Nivetha Pethuraj was part of the Telugu film "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo." In 2021, she appeared in the Telugu film "Red" directed by Kishore Tirumala, and she also starred in another Telugu film alongside Vishwak Sen. Additionally, she appeared in the Tamil film "Pon Manickavel" alongside Prabhudeva.

In 2022, Nivetha had multiple releases in Telugu films, including "Bloody Mary" where she played the lead role, "Virata Parvam" where she made a special appearance, and "Das Ka Damki" where she acted alongside Vishwak Sen again.
