Lolla Venkata Revanth Kumar Sharma, known as L. V. Revanth, is an Indian playback singer primarily known for his work in the Telugu film industry. He was born on February 10, 1990. Revanth gained recognition after winning various singing competitions and reality shows.
One of his notable achievements was winning the ninth season of the popular reality show Indian Idol in 2017, which aired on Sony Entertainment Television. This victory earned him a cash prize of Rs. 25 lakhs and a Mahindra KUV100. His talent was also acknowledged with nominations for the IIFA Utsavam and Star Maa Music Awards for Best Male Playback Singer for his rendition of the song "Manohari" from the film Baahubali: The Beginning.
Revanth has contributed his vocals to approximately 200 songs in Telugu and Kannada films. Some of his notable songs include "Telisiney Na Nuvvey" and "Oopiri Aaguthunnadey" from the 2017 film Arjun Reddy. In addition to Telugu, he made his debut in the Hindi music industry by singing the title track for the reality show Sabse Bada Kalakar, which aired on Sony Entertainment Television.
Throughout his career, Revanth has considered renowned music composer M. M. Keeravani as his mentor. He has participated in various singing shows like Saptha Swaralu, Super Singer 5, Super Singer 7, and served as a mentor on Super Singer 8. In 2022, he emerged as the winner of the sixth season of the Telugu reality show Bigg Boss.
