He also held the distinction of bowling the fastest delivery by an Indian in the IPL, clocking at 157 kmph against the Delhi Capitals.

His prowess led to national recognition as he was named in India's T20I squad for series against South Africa and Ireland. He made his T20I debut against Ireland on June 26, 2022. In November 2022, he marked his ODI debut against New Zealand, taking Devon Conway as his first wicket.
