Male Cricketer
Kuldeep Yadav, born on December 14, 1994, is an Indian international cricketer known for his left-arm unorthodox spin bowling and lower-order batting. He represents India and Uttar Pradesh in domestic cricket and has played for various Indian Premier League (IPL) teams, including Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders. Yadav gained prominence by playing for the Indian Under-19 cricket team and featuring in the 2014 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
Raised in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, Yadav initially aspired to be a left-arm seamer but switched to wrist-spin bowling due to his build. Inspired by legends like Wasim Akram and Shane Warne, he overcame a challenging period in his life when he contemplated quitting cricket. He debuted in Test cricket against Australia in 2017, becoming the first left-arm wrist spinner to represent India. He also played ODIs and T20Is, achieving notable feats like taking a hat-trick in ODIs and achieving top rankings in ICC T20I Bowlers Rankings. Yadav's impressive performances led to his inclusion in India's squads for the 2019 Cricket World Cup.
In his career, he demonstrated exceptional skills and achieved milestones like multiple five-wicket hauls and becoming India's first bowler to secure two hat-tricks in ODIs. His talent and contributions continue to make him a valuable asset to the Indian cricket team
