Zain Imam is an Indian actor known for his work in Hindi television. He has gained recognition for his roles in various TV shows. One of his notable portrayals was as Neil Khanna in the Star Plus series Naamkaran. He also played the character of Yuvraj Luthra in Zee TV's Tashan-E-Ishq, for which he received the Gold Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role. In 2019, Imam participated in the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 9.
Imam began his career as a model and appeared in commercials before making his acting debut in the MTV India series Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan, where he played the character of Abhimanyu Thakkar. He then gained popularity with his role as Yuvraj Luthra in Tashan-e-Ishq from 2015 to 2016. He received critical acclaim and won the Gold Award for his performance in the negative role.
He went on to play Abir Dharmadhikari in Zee TV's Yeh Vaada Raha from October 2016 to January 2017. Imam's breakthrough came when he was cast as ACP Neil Khanna in StarPlus's romantic drama Naamkarann, which concluded in May 2018. He also appeared in the popular series Ishqbaaaz as Mohit Malhotra in September 2018.
In 2019, Imam participated in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 9, a stunt-based reality show, and finished in 9th place. He continued his acting career with roles in Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna and the music video Tanhaai by Tulsi Kumar. In 2021, he made his digital platform debut with the web series Crashh.
After a hiatus of three years, Imam made a television comeback in 2022 with the role of Agastya Raichand in the Gul Khan production Fanaa: Ishq Mein Marjawan on Colors TV, opposite Reem Shaikh. His portrayal received praise from the audience. The show concluded on September 2, 2022.
Imam has also been featured in the Times of India's "Most Desirable Men" list, ranking at No. 5 in 2018 and No. 15 in 2019.
