Vishal Aditya Singh is an Indian actor and model who primarily works in Hindi television. He was born on 25 January 1988. Singh started his career as a model and later moved to Mumbai to pursue acting.
His television debut came in 2010 when he played the main lead Avdesh Thakur in the Bhojpuri serial "Jai Jai Shiv Shankar." He then appeared in the historical drama "Chandragupta Maurya" in 2011. From 2012 to 2013, he portrayed the character of Veeru in the series "Sasural Simar Ka." In 2014, he played a cop in the comedy show "Bachchan Pandey ki Toli." Singh essayed the role of Devendra Singh Rana in the mini-series "Time Machine" in 2015.
However, his breakthrough role came in March 2015 when he was cast as Lakhan Thakur/Shakti Thakur in the show "Begusarai" on &TV. He also appeared in an episode of "Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya" in 2016. In 2017, he played the lead role of King Veerendra Pratap Singh in the fantasy series "Chandrakanta." In 2018, he was seen as Singer Tevar Singh in the musical show "Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala."
Singh has also participated in several reality shows. He participated in the 9th season of "Nach Baliye" in 2019 and later entered the 13th season of "Bigg Boss" as a wild card contestant. In 2020, he appeared in two music videos, "Dil Mein Hindustan" and "Khwabeeda," along with Madhurima Tuli. He also took part in the 11th season of "Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi" in 2021.
In his personal life, Singh was in a relationship with actress Madhurima Tuli, whom he met on the sets of "Chandrakanta." They dated for a year before breaking up in 2018.
Singh has been recognized for his popularity and desirability in the television industry. He was ranked in The Times of India's Most Desirable Men On Television list in 2018, 2019, and 2020.
