Shalin Bhanot is an Indian actor known for his work in Hindi television. Born on 15 November 1983, he began his career as a contestant on the reality show Roadies 2. Since then, he has appeared in various television serials and web shows. Bhanot gained popularity when he participated in the dance reality show Nach Baliye 4 and emerged as the winner alongside his ex-wife, Dalljiet Kaur. He later competed in the reality series Bigg Boss 16 and finished as a finalist.

Hailing from a business family in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, Shalin Bhanot is an enthusiastic dancer and fitness lover. In 2009, he tied the knot with actress Dalljiet Kaur. The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Jaydon, in 2014. However, their marriage faced challenges, and in 2015, Kaur filed for divorce, alleging domestic violence. Kaur claimed that Bhanot had been physically abusive towards her, even in front of her parents, and accused him of neglecting her during her pregnancy. The couple officially divorced in 2015, with Kaur obtaining custody of Jaydon while Bhanot retained visiting rights.

Bhanot's acting journey began with MTV Roadies 2 in 2004, and he went on to portray characters such as Akshay in Ayushmaan (2005), Karan in Saat Phere: Saloni Ka Safar (2005-2006), and Mihir in Sanya. He also appeared as Agni in Kulvaddhu and made cameo appearances on shows like Kaajjal and Grihasti. In 2009, Bhanot showcased his dancing skills on Nach Baliye 4 and emerged as the winner alongside his former wife.

In 2022, Bhanot participated in the reality show Bigg Boss 16, which aired on Colors TV. His impressive journey on the show led him to the finale, where he finished as a finalist. Following his success on Bigg Boss 16, in February 2023, Bhanot was offered the male lead role in the Balaji Telefilms fictional series Bekaboo, produced by Ekta Kapoor. He accepted the offer and went on to feature in the show.
