Shakti Arora is an Indian actor known for his work in Hindi television. He was born on May 16, 1986. Shakti gained popularity for his performances in shows like "Tere Liye," "Pavitra Rishta," "Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi," and "Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka." He has also participated in dance reality shows like "Nach Baliye 7" in 2015 and "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9" in 2016.
Shakti started his television career in 2006 with the show "Ssshhhh...Phir Koi Hai" and later appeared in "Left Right Left" as Kamran. In 2007, he played the character of Sumit in Star Plus's medical series "Dill Mill Gaye." After a two-year break, he returned to television in 2009 as Jigar Thakkar in "Baa Bahoo Aur Baby."
In 2010, Shakti joined Star Plus's "Tere Liye" as Taposh Banerjee. He continued to work in various shows like "Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo" and "Sanskaar Laxmi" in 2011. However, he gained critical acclaim for his portrayal of Onir Dutt, a doctor, in the popular soap opera "Pavitra Rishta" from 2012 to 2013.
Shakti's breakthrough as a leading actor came in June 2014 when he played the role of Ranveer Vaghela, a successful business tycoon, in Colors TV's "Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi." He also participated in the dance reality show "Nach Baliye 7" in the same year. Shakti made guest appearances in shows like "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7" and "Krishnadasi."
In 2018, he began starring in Colors TV's "Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka" alongside Drashti Dhami and Aditi Dev Sharma. Shakti played the role of Kunal Malhotra, a pediatrician doctor. He later appeared in Colors TV's cooking show "Kitchen Champion 5."
In June 2022, Shakti replaced Dheeraj Dhoopar as the lead character Karan Luthra in Zee TV's "Kundali Bhagya." However, he left the show in March 2023 due to a generation leap in the storyline and to explore different projects.
