Shabir Ahluwalia is an Indian actor and host known for his roles in various television shows and films. He gained popularity for his portrayal of Abhishek Prem Mehra in the television series Kumkum Bhagya. He has also appeared in shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat, Kahi To Milenge, Kkavyanjali, Kasamh Se, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Kayamath, and Laagi Tujhse Lagan, among others.
Shabir Ahluwalia won the third season of Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi and has hosted shows such as Nach Baliye, Guinness World Records – Ab India Todega, and Dancing Queen. He made his debut in Bollywood with the film Shootout at Lokhandwala, followed by Mission Istanbul. He is set to appear in the sixth installment of the YRF Spy Universe and the sequel to the movie War, titled War 2, alongside Hrithik Roshan and JR.NTR.
Born on August 10, 1979, in Mumbai, Shabir Ahluwalia comes from a mixed heritage, with a Sikh father and a Catholic mother. He has two siblings named Shefali Ahluwalia and Sameer Ahluwalia. He completed his schooling at St. Xavier's High School in Vile Parle and later graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Shabir Ahluwalia married actress Kanchi Kaul on November 27, 2011. The couple has two sons, with the first born in 2014 and the second in 2016. Shabir Ahluwalia continues to entertain audiences with his versatile acting skills and captivating hosting presence.
