Sangita Ghosh, born on August 18, 1976, is an Indian film and television actress and model. She gained recognition for her role as Pammi in the television serial "Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand." Sangita has also hosted and anchored several award shows and television series. She co-hosted the show "Nach Baliye" with Shabbir Ahluwalia and showcased her dancing skills with multiple performances. She is also known for her role as Pishachini in "Divya Drishti."
Sangita began her acting career at the age of ten in a serial called "Hum Hindustani." She has been a successful model and has worked with brands like Donear Suitings and Nirma. After completing her college studies in 1996, she appeared in serials such as "Mehndi Tere Naam Ki," "Sansaar," "Kurukshetra," "Adhikar," "Ajeeb Dastan," and "Daraar." Her breakthrough role came with "Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand," where she portrayed the character of Pammi. She also played the role of Priyanka Kharbanda / Priyanka Rahul Lamba in the popular TV show "Viraasat" in 2006.
Sangita has showcased her dancing skills in reality shows like "Zara Nachke Dikha 2" as the captain of the girls' team in 2010. After a gap of six years, she made her comeback in the TV show "Kehta Hai Dil Jee Le Zara" in 2013, where she played the role of Sanchi opposite Ruslaan Mumtaz. The show received praise for its unique concept, and Sangita's chemistry with Ruslaan was highly appreciated. She later appeared in the second season of the daily soap "Parvarrish" and portrayed the antagonist Sudha in Star Plus's thriller series "Rishton Ka Chakravyuh."
In February 2019, Sangita played the role of Sachini, the antagonist, in the TV show "Divya Drishti." Her performance received widespread appreciation, and the show was a commercial success. After a year-long run, the show concluded in February 2020.
