Roop Durgapal started her acting career after working at Infosys. Apart from "Balika Vadhu," she has appeared in various other television shows. Some of her notable roles include Dari Dari Pari in "Baal Veer," Kavya Maheshwari in "Swaragini," and Natasha Gujral in "Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi."

She has also made guest appearances in shows like "Akbar Birbal" and has been part of television advertisements. In 2018, she played the lead role of Sharmishtha, a lawyer, in Zing TV's episodic show "Pyaar Pehli Baar."

Roop Durgapal joined Zee TV's series "Tujhse Hai Raabta" in July 2019, playing the character of Ketki, a Maharashtrian girl. She also appeared in shows like "CIF" as the forensic doctor Sakshi Shrivastava and "Laal Ishq" as Sonia and Aleesha.
