Television Female Actor
Aakanksha Singh is an Indian actress who primarily works in Telugu and Hindi films and television. She started her career with theatre and made her acting debut with the television series Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha (2012–2014). She made her film debut with Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017).
Singh was born on 30 July 1990 in Jaipur, Rajasthan. She completed her schooling from Ryan International School, Jaipur. She then studied physiotherapy at the Jaipur National University. After completing her studies, she moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in acting.
Singh made her acting debut with the television series Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha in 2012. She played the role of Megha Vyas Bhatnagar, a widow with two children. The show was a huge success and Singh won the Indian Telly Award for Fresh New Face - Female for her performance.
After Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha, Singh went on to star in several other television shows, including Gulmohar Grand (2015), Girls Hostel (2016), and Aye Zindagi (2017). She also made guest appearances in several other shows, including Savdhaan India and Nach Baliye.
In 2017, Singh made her film debut with Badrinath Ki Dulhania. She played the role of Tara Singh, the sister of the protagonist. The film was a huge success and Singh was praised for her performance.
After Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Singh has starred in several other films, including Malli Raava (2017), Devadas (2018), Pailwaan (2019), and Runway 34 (2022). She has also starred in several web series, including Rangbaaz: Darr Ki Rajneeti (2022) and Meet Cute (2022).
