Joi Barua is a talented Indian singer and music composer hailing from Digboi, Assam. He has made significant contributions to the music industry by lending his soulful voice and composing music for various Hindi, Assamese, and Telugu films. He is also known as the lead vocalist of the band Joi.

One of the notable achievements of Joi Barua and his band was the release of an anthem for the 114 bravehearts of the Indian Army who lost their lives during the Indo-China War in 1962. They created history by releasing the anthem atop the Rezang La War Memorial on May 4, 2022. This initiative was collated by his close associate, Sattyakee D'com Bhuyan, who is a theater director, writer, and journalist.
