Javed Ali is an acclaimed Indian playback singer known for his contributions to the Hindi film industry. While predominantly singing in Hindi, he has also lent his soulful voice to various other Indian languages such as Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. He was born as Javed Hussain in Panchkuian Road, Delhi.
Javed Ali's musical journey began at a young age under the guidance of his father, Ustad Hamid Hussain, who was a renowned qawwali singer. His talent caught the attention of the legendary ghazal singer Ghulam Ali, who recognized his potential and mentored him. Ghulam Ali not only provided guidance to Javed but also gave him opportunities to sing in his live concerts. In honor of his guru, Javed Hussain changed his name to Javed Ali.
In 2007, Javed Ali gained significant recognition for his song "Ek Din Teri Raahon Mein" from the film "Naqaab." Since then, he has delivered several memorable tracks that have captivated listeners.
