Divya Kumar is an Indian playback singer known for his contributions to Hindi, Gujarati, Telugu, and other language films. Born into a musical family, he carries forward a rich legacy of music. His grandfather, Pandit Shivram, was a renowned composer for regional films in India, including works for V. Shantaram's movies. His father, Bhagwan Shivram, is also a musician who has collaborated with prominent composers like RD Burman, Jatin–Lalit, and Himesh Reshamiya.
Divya Kumar made his Bollywood debut with the song "Tutiya Dil" in collaboration with Gujraj Singh. Since then, he has sung numerous popular songs that have resonated with audiences. Some notable tracks include "Shubhaarambh" from the film Kai Po Che, "Chanchal Man Ati Random" from Shuddh Desi Romance, and "Daingad Daingad" from Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.
He showcased his vocal prowess in the Farhan Akhtar starrer Bhaag Milkha Bhaag with the energetic song "Maston Ka Jhund" composed by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy. Divya Kumar's versatile singing abilities were further showcased in films like Finding Fanny and Ghanchakkar. Divya Kumar's talent extends beyond Bollywood as well. He lent his voice to the theme music composed by Sachin–Jigar for the serial Satrangi Sasural. In 2017, he recorded the title song for the internationally acclaimed Rajasthani film Taawdo The Sunlight, which won multiple awards.
