Ishan Kishan is an Indian cricketer who represents both the Indian national team and the Mumbai Indians franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He was born on July 18, 1998, in Patna, Bihar, India.
Ishan Kishan is a left-handed wicket-keeper batsman known for his aggressive batting style and ability to score quick runs. He made his debut in domestic cricket for Jharkhand in 2014 and quickly gained attention for his performances in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and the Ranji Trophy.
In the IPL, Ishan Kishan plays for the Mumbai Indians. He made his IPL debut in 2016 and has been a consistent performer for the team. He has played some memorable innings for the franchise, including a match-winning knock of 62 runs off 21 balls against the Kolkata Knight Riders in 2018.
Ishan Kishan's performances in domestic cricket and the IPL earned him a call-up to the Indian national team. He made his international debut in a T20I match against England in March 2021. In that match, he scored an impressive 56 runs off 32 balls, becoming the second Indian batsman to score a half-century on T20I debut.
