Kiran Prabhu Navgire is an Indian cricketer who represents the India women's team and Nagaland women's team. She was born on September 18, 1994, in Solapur, Maharashtra.
Navgire made headlines in 2022 when she set the record for the highest individual score in the Women's Senior T20 Trophy. During a match for Nagaland against Arunachal Pradesh, she scored an unbeaten 162 runs off just 76 balls. This remarkable innings made her the first Indian (male or female) to score over 150 runs in a T20 match.
Navgire initially had an athletic background and participated in various events such as javelin throw, shot put, and 100 meters. She transitioned to cricket during her college days at the Savitribai Phule Pune University, where she represented the university cricket team from 2013-14 to 2015-16 seasons.
She began her domestic career with Maharashtra in the 2018-19 Senior Women's One Day League. However, due to limited opportunities in the Maharashtra team, Navgire decided to play for Nagaland as a guest player in the 2021-22 Women's Senior T20 Trophy.
