Female Cricketer
Sabbineni Meghana is an Indian cricketer who plays as a right-handed batter. She has represented Railways and India in domestic and international cricket. Meghana has also previously played for Andhra and South Zone.
She was part of India's winning team in the 2016 Women's Twenty20 Asia Cup. In the 2021-22 Women's Senior One Day Trophy, she topped the run-scoring charts with 388 runs, which included one century and two half-centuries.
In January 2022, Meghana was named as one of the reserve players for India's team in the 2022 Women's Cricket World Cup held in New Zealand. She made her Women's One Day International (WODI) debut on February 12, 2022, representing India against New Zealand.
In July 2022, she was selected to represent India in the cricket tournament at the 2022 Commonwealth Games held in Birmingham, England.
