Vipul Roy is an Indian television and film actor known for his work in the entertainment industry. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Bhola Pandit in the popular SAB TV show "F.I.R." He has also appeared in the Punjabi feature film "What the Jatt!!"
Roy completed his schooling at Sherwood College, where he received his first acting award from Amitabh Bachchan for a play during his childhood. He was pursuing Hotel Management in Ooty before participating in the first season of "India's Best Cinestars Ki Khoj" in 2004.
In 2019, Roy got engaged to his girlfriend Melis Atici, and they tied the knot on 20 February 2022.
His career in the entertainment industry began with his participation in "India's Best Cinestars Ki Khoj." He later hosted "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Mega Challenge," becoming the first anchor from a non-singing background. He also co-hosted "Wheel Ghar Ghar Mein" with Manish Paul. Roy has appeared in fictional shows such as "Tujko Hai Salaam Zindgi" and "Chehra."
In 2013, Roy took on the lead role of Bhola Pandit in the popular show "F.I.R." after Aamir Ali's departure. He joined the cast of "Jeanie Aur Juju" in 2014.
He played the character Sunny in "Sahib Biwi Aur Boss" in 2015 and portrayed the main lead as Mohan in "Dr. Madhumati On Duty" opposite Debina Bonnerjee in 2016. In 2017, he gained significant popularity for his role as Sr. Inspector Aditya Dev in the series "Partners Trouble Ho Gayi Double." He appeared in "&TV's Naye Shaadi Ke Siyape" as Bunty in 2019 and acted in ALT Balaji's web series "Booo Sabki Phategi" as Veer alongside Shefali Jariwala.
