Shakti Anand, an accomplished Indian television actor, was born on September 23, 1975, in Delhi, into a Punjabi family. He pursued his education at the Tamil Education Association university in Delhi, where he focused on the Science stream, and subsequently obtained a master's degree in pharmaceutical engineering. Shakti's foray into the entertainment industry began when he received an acting offer for the TV show "Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi," while he was employed as a medical examiner at GE Capital in Delhi.
Over his career, Shakti Anand made his mark by featuring in various television shows, such as "Tenali Rama," "Saara Akaash," "Sambhav Asambhav," and "Ek Ladki Anjaani Si." He also hosted the inaugural season of the crime reality series "Crime Patrol" in 2004. Shakti's talent was not limited to acting, as he and his wife, actress Sai Deodhar, participated in the first season of the celebrity dance competition "Nach Baliye."
In terms of his acting roles, Shakti portrayed diverse characters, including Shivam in "Godh Bharaai," Maharana Udai Singh in "Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap," Shiv in "Gangaa," Emperor Balakumara in "Tenali Rama," and Amber Singh in "Channa Mereya." Notably, in March 2023, he took on the role of Karan Luthra, succeeding Shakti Arora after a generation leap, in the popular Zee TV show "Kundali Bhagya."
