Saurav Gurjar, born on 26 September 1985, is an Indian professional wrestler and actor. He is currently signed to WWE and performs on the Raw brand under the ring name Sanga as a member of the tag team Indus Sher, alongside Veer Mahaan and Jinder Mahal. Prior to his wrestling career, he gained recognition for his role as Bhima in the TV show Mahabharat.
Hailing from Dabra in Madhya Pradesh, Saurav Gurjar is a former National Kickboxing Gold Medalist. In December 2011, he participated in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling's India project, Ring Ka King, where he performed as Deadly Danda as part of Jeff Jarrett's heel stable, RDX.
In January 2018, Saurav Gurjar signed a contract with WWE. He made his first televised appearance in the Worlds Collide men's battle. In March 2020, he and Rinku Singh attacked Matt Riddle on an episode of NXT, with Malcolm Bivens appearing to be their manager. They were later introduced as Rinku and Saurav and formed the team known as Indus Sher.
Following a brief hiatus from television, Saurav Gurjar returned to NXT under the new ring name Sanga as a bodyguard for Grayson Waller. However, he was eventually fired by Waller and engaged in a singles match against him. In October, Sanga reformed Indus Sher with Veer Mahaan and the team made their way to the Raw brand after being drafted in the 2023 WWE Draft.
On 15 May, Sanga made his Raw debut in a tag team match with Veer, defeating local talents Drake Thompson and Lavar Barbie. As a member of Indus Sher, Sanga continues to showcase his skills and make an impact in the WWE.
