Rohit Chandel is a talented Indian actor who gained recognition for his exceptional performance in Onelife Studio's "Escaype Live" (2021), a Disney Hotstar tech thriller series.

Hailing from Shahada, a town in Maharashtra's Nandurbar District, Rohit's father is a retired forest officer, and his mother is a homemaker. He grew up with a brother and a sister.

During his higher education in science, Rohit also pursued professional cricket for the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA). Despite excelling in academics and sports, he never participated in performing arts during his school days.

After scoring well in MH-CET, Rohit decided to move to metro cities in Maharashtra to pursue an acting career. He dropped out of VIT Pune and relocated to Mumbai in 2015 to pursue his passion for acting.

In Mumbai, Rohit became associated with various theatre groups and workshops, even studying acting at the National School of Drama (NSD) with fellow NSD graduates. His determination paid off when he finally secured his first acting project after enduring 90 auditions.

After making his debut in the finite series "Tamanna" (2016), Rohit went on to appear in over 20 series and commercial advertisements, as well as a Hollywood movie. However, it was his role in Siddharth Kumar Tiwari's "Chandragupta Maurya" (2019) that opened doors to more powerful roles.

His breakthrough in the digital space came with the series "Escaype Live" (2021)
