He gained fame for his portrayal of Jai Walia in the television series Kasamh Se and the character of Ram Kapoor in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. Ram has also appeared in films such as Humshakals, where he played a triple role, and has hosted the reality show Rakhi Ka Swayamwar, based on The Bachelorette.

Ram Kapoor spent his formative years at Sherwood College in Nainital, Uttarakhand, where he discovered his passion for acting.
