Sukirti Kandpal is an Indian actress and model known for her work in Hindi television shows. She made her acting debut in 2007 with Sab TV's youth show "Jersey No 10." However, she gained recognition for her roles as Dr. Riddhima Gupta in "Dill Mill Gayye" from 2008 to 2009 and as Piya Dobriyal in the romantic thriller "Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani" from 2010 to 2011. Sukirti also participated in the reality show "Bigg Boss 8" in 2014.
Some of Sukirti Kandpal's notable works include portraying Simran Khanna in "Kaisa Yeh Ishq Hai... Ajab Sa Risk Hai" from 2013 to 2014 and Debjani Thakur in "Dilli Wali Thakur Gurls" in 2015. She was last seen portraying the character of businesswoman Alia Shroff in the TV series "Story 9 Months Ki" from 2020 to 2021.
Sukirti was born in Nainital, Uttarakhand, and her parents are B.D. Kandpal and Manju Kandpal. She has an elder sister named Bhavna Kandpal and a younger brother named Manjul Kandpal. She completed her education at St. Mary's Convent High School in Nainital and later obtained an honors degree in Economics from Sophia College for Women in Mumbai.
Initially, Sukirti aspired to pursue a career in law, following in her father's footsteps as a public prosecutor. However, she was spotted by a creative director from Cinevistaas Limited while at a coffee shop, which led to her acting career. She rose to fame after her role in "Dill Mill Gayye" and gained further popularity with "Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani."
Apart from her television work, Sukirti has also appeared in various advertisements and TV commercials for brands like PC Chandra Jewellers, Hyundai, Dove shampoo, Shahnaz Husain's Fair One Cream, and Margo Neem Face wash.
