Sana Amin Sheikh is an Indian actress and radio jockey who primarily works in Hindi television shows and films. She made her acting debut with the Disney Channel India series "Kya Mast Hai Life" in which she played the character Ritu Shah. Since then, she has appeared in over 30 television serials and has become one of the most popular television stars in the industry.
Sana has portrayed lead roles in various shows, including "Jeet Jayenge Hum," "Gustakh Dil," "Million Dollar Girl," "Bhootu Season 1," "Krishnadasi," and "Perfect Pati," among others. She has also played supporting and antagonist roles in shows like "Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi 3," "Tere Shehar Mein," and "Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya."
In addition to her television career, Sana made her Bollywood debut with the film "Singham" where she portrayed the character Anjali Bhosle. She has also appeared in supporting roles in films like "Table No. 21," "Island City," and "Bamfaad."
Sana Amin Sheikh was born and raised in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Her great-grandfather, Ashraf Khan, was an actor and singer in Gujarati theatre. She was married to television director Aijaz Sheikh from 2016 to 2022.
Before pursuing acting, Sana worked as a radio jockey at Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM since August 2004. She hosted shows like 'Khoobsurat, Sana ke saath' and 'TRP – Television Radio Par' on Mirchi Love and Ishq FM.
Sana began her acting career as a child artist and gained fame for her roles in shows like "Hasratein" and "Junoon" in the 1990s. She later made a comeback in 2009 with "Kya Mast Hai Life" and went on to portray lead roles in various television serials. She has been part of popular shows like "Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya," "Gustakh Dil," and "Krishnadasi." She also played the lead character Avanti Bansal in Channel V's "Million Dollar Girl."
