Jayati Bhatia, born on July 28, 1970, is an Indian actress known for her work in the television industry. She gained significant recognition for her portrayal of Nirmala "Mataji" Bharadwaj in the long-running TV show "Sasural Simar Ka," which aired on Colors TV from 2011 to 2018. Currently, she is playing the role of Geetanjali Devi Oswal in the second season of "Sasural Simar Ka."
Jayati Bhatia made her debut in the Hindi television industry in 1995 with the show "Challenge," where she played the character Khushnuma. She further showcased her talent in the sitcom "Tu Tu Main Main" on Star Plus, portraying the role of Kumud. Her association with producer Ekta Kapoor began with the show "Kanyadaan" and she also had a small role in Kapoor's production "Itihaas."
Continuing into the new century and decade, Jayati Bhatia appeared as the wife of Arun Govil's character in the show "Kaise Kahoon" on Zee TV.
