Anjum Fakih, born on September 12, 1989, is an Indian actress and model. She is best known for her work in popular Zee TV shows such as "Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani," "Kundali Bhagya," and Sony TV's "Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2."
Anjum Fakih was born in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, India, into a Konkani Muslim family. Her parents, Kamaluddin Fakih and Sultana Fakih, reside in Vikhroli and Panderi, Ratnagiri. She completed her education from the University of Mumbai. At the age of 19, she left home to pursue a career in acting and modeling and moved to Mumbai. She enrolled in Elan Modelling Agency Pvt Ltd., where she began her career as a model. Later, she appeared in several commercials.
Anjum made her debut in Hindi television in 2010 with a small role as Bonita Ahluwalia in the romantic comedy "Mahi Way." After a five-year hiatus, she returned to television in 2015 with Star Plus's romantic drama "Tere Sheher Mein," where she played the character of Rachita Agnihotri. In the same year, she also appeared in "Time Machine." Later, she gained recognition for her role as the antagonist Rani Rageshwari in the period drama "Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani" on Zee TV. However, she left the show in 2016.
In February 2017, she joined Colors TV's social drama "Devanshi," portraying the character of Sakshi, the adoptive sister of the main character Devanshi. From 2017, Anjum has been portraying Srishti Arora Luthra in Zee TV's "Kundali Bhagya," for which she received a Gold Award for her performance. The show garnered high TRP ratings upon its launch.
