Kaneez Surka is a talented improv artist, actress, comedian, and YouTuber of Indian descent, known for her work in India. She began her career with the show "The Week That Wasn't" and has since performed on various stand-up platforms. Kaneez gained recognition as a judge on the first two seasons of the Amazon Prime Video stand-up comedy reality show "Comicstaan." She also hosts an online comedy game show called "The General Fun Game Show" on YouTube.
Kaneez Surka has been an integral part of the Mumbai improv scene since 2009. Initially, she worked with Divya Palat's Imps troupe and later became the co-director of the Mumbai-based storytelling club "Tall Tales" in 2013.
She gained mainstream popularity through her work on the satirical news show "The Week That Wasn't" on CNN-News18. Kaneez has collaborated with Weirdass Comedy, a venture by Vir Das, and has made appearances in several All India Bakchod (AIB) videos, playing memorable roles such as Clitika from "A woman's besties" and the Instagram character from "If Apps were people." She has also served as a judge for shows like "Comicstaan" and "Improv All Stars" for Amazon Prime, as well as "Queens of Comedy" for TLC.
