Balireddy Prudhviraj, popularly known as 30 Years Industry, is an Indian actor and politician who predominantly works in Telugu films. Born on August 6, 1964, in Tadepalligudem, Andhra Pradesh, he has appeared in over 100 films, mostly in comic roles.
Prudhviraj made his acting debut in the film Aa Okkati Adakku in 1992, where he was introduced by noted actor M. Prabhakar Reddy and director E. V. V. Satyanarayana. He gained recognition for his role in the film Khadgam (2002), where his dialogue "30 Years Industry ikkada" became popular and earned him the moniker 30 Years Industry.
Apart from his acting career, Prudhviraj has also ventured into politics. In February 2019, he was appointed as the state secretary of the YSR Congress Party in Andhra Pradesh. He later joined the Jana Sena Party in 2022.
Prudhviraj faced controversy in January 2020 when an audiotape recording featuring him and a female employee of the SVBC TV channel, where he served as chairman, went viral on YouTube. The incident led to protests by SVBC employees, who demanded his resignation. Consequently, Prudhviraj resigned from his post as the chairman of the Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel.
Throughout his career, Prudhviraj has entertained audiences with his comedic performances and has made a significant impact in the Telugu film industry.
