Pawan Kalyan, born Konidela Kalyan Babu on September 2, 1971, is an Indian actor, politician, and film producer. He is predominantly known for his work in the Telugu film industry. Pawan Kalyan is the younger brother of popular actor Chiranjeevi and belongs to the illustrious Konidela family.
He made his acting debut in 1996 with the film "Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi." However, he gained immense popularity and a strong fan following with his film "Tholi Prema" in 1998, which became a blockbuster hit and won him a National Film Award.
Apart from his successful acting career, Pawan Kalyan has also been actively involved in politics. He founded the Jana Sena Party in March 2014 with the aim of addressing various issues in society. He has campaigned extensively in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and contested in the 2019 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections.
