Nandamuri Balakrishna is an acclaimed Indian actor, politician, and film producer known for his work primarily in the Telugu cinema industry. Born on June 10, 1960, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, he is the son of the legendary actor and politician Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. Balakrishna made his acting debut at the age of 14 in the film "Tatamma Kala" (1974). Since then, he has appeared in over 100 films, earning him a dedicated fan following.
Balakrishna is recognized for his powerful performances and versatile roles in movies such as "Mangamma Gari Manavadu" (1984), "Aditya 369" (1991), and "Legend" (2014). He has received numerous awards and accolades for his contribution to the industry, including Nandi Awards and Filmfare Awards South.
Apart from his successful film career, Balakrishna has also ventured into politics. He is a prominent member of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and was elected as a Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from the Hindupur constituency in Andhra Pradesh.
