Jitendra Joshi is an acclaimed Indian actor and reality show host, primarily known for his work in Marathi cinema. He gained significant recognition for his portrayal of Sant Tukaram Maharaj in the Marathi film Tukaram released in 2012. Another notable role of his was as constable Katekar in the popular Netflix television series Sacred Games.

Joshi's career has been diverse, showcasing his talents in various facets of the entertainment industry. In addition to acting, he has also ventured into writing. He penned the widely popular song "Kombdi Palali," which was later remixed as "Chikni Chameli." He garnered early recognition for his role as Krishna in the Zee Marathi daily soap Ghadlay Bighadlay.

As a host, Joshi helmed Marathi Paaul Padte Pudhe, a talent reality show on Zee Marathi in 2011. His versatility as an actor is evident in the range of characters he has portrayed. He played the titular role of Sant Tukaram in the film Tukaram and showcased his comic skills in Guldasta. Notably, he also essayed the role of the villainous character Sai in the film Duniyadari.

Joshi's exceptional acting skills were recognized at the 52nd International Film Festival of India in 2021, where he won the Best Actor Award for his role as Nishikant Deshmukh in Nikhil Mahajan's Marathi film Godavari.

Moreover, Joshi's talent and versatility were showcased once again in Netflix's series Thar, where he delivered an impressive performance as a cunning villager.
