Pranitha Subhash is an Indian actress who predominantly works in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi films. She made her acting debut in 2010 with the Kannada film "Porki" and gained critical acclaim for her role in the film "Bheema Theeradalli" (2012). She has appeared in commercially successful Telugu and Tamil films such as "Baava" (2010), "Attarintiki Daredi" (2013), "Massu Engira Masilamani" (2015), and "Enakku Vaaitha Adimaigal" (2017).
Pranitha Subhash began her acting career in Kannada cinema with "Porki" and gained recognition for her performance. She then appeared in the Telugu film "Baava," where she portrayed a Telugu village belle and received praise for her role. She ventured into Tamil cinema with the film "Udhayan" and subsequently appeared in the Tamil and Telugu bilingual film "Saguni" opposite Karthi, which had a wide release in theaters worldwide.
She continued to work in Kannada films, starring in "Jarasandha" and "Bheema Theeradalli," where she portrayed the role of Bheemavva. Her performance in "Bheema Theeradalli" received critical acclaim and earned her a nomination for the Filmfare Awards. She also appeared in the Kannada film "Whistle" and earned a nomination at the SIIMA Awards.
In 2013, Pranitha Subhash appeared in the highly successful Telugu film "Attarintiki Daredi," which became the highest-grossing Telugu film at the time. She received nominations for her performance in the film. She also worked on other projects like the Kannada film "Brahma" and the Telugu film "Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda."
In subsequent years, Pranitha Subhash appeared in films such as "Masss" (2015) opposite Suriya, "Brahmotsavam" (2016) featuring Mahesh Babu, and "Dynamite" (2015) opposite Manchu Vishnu. She has been involved in various endorsements, representing brands like Joyalukkas, SVB Silks Salem, Bombay Jewellery, and more.
Apart from her acting career, Pranitha Subhash has been actively engaged in philanthropic activities. She has worked on improving public education in Karnataka by adopting schools and enhancing their infrastructure and facilities. She has also contributed to causes such as refurbishing schools and promoting awareness for voting in elections. Additionally, she co-owns a restaurant in Bangalore and has invested in the hospitality industry.
Pranitha Subhash married businessman Nitin Raju in May 2021, and the couple welcomed their daughter, Arna, in 2022.
