Mannara Chopra, born on 25th May 1991, is an Indian actress and model known for her work primarily in Telugu films, as well as a few Hindi and Tamil films. She is the paternal cousin of popular actresses Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra. Mannara made her Bollywood debut in the film "Zid" in 2014.
Born in Ambala Cantonment, Haryana, Mannara comes from a creative background. Her mother is a jewelry designer, and her father is a lawyer. She has a younger sister named Mitali, who is a fashion stylist. Mannara completed her education at Summer Fields School in New Delhi and pursued a BBA degree while also training as a fashion designer.
After finishing her education, Mannara relocated to Mumbai and began her career in modeling and advertising. She appeared in numerous commercials, including Suzuki with Salman Khan, Dulux paints with Farhan Akhtar, Parle Marie with director Imtiaz Ali, and Dabur Amla Hair Oil, which brought her recognition and opened doors for her entry into Telugu films.
Before her acting debut, Mannara worked as a fashion designer and assistant choreographer, specializing in dance forms like hip hop and belly dancing. She made her acting debut in 2014 with the Telugu film "Prema Geema Jantha Nai" and followed it up with her Bollywood debut in "Zid," where she played the role of an obsessive lover.
Subsequently, Mannara appeared in several Telugu films, including "Jakkanna" (2016), "Thikka" (2016), and "Rogue" (2017). Her performances in these films received positive reviews, establishing her presence in the Telugu film industry.
