Parmish Verma is an Indian singer, rapper, director, and actor known for his contributions to the Punjabi Music and Punjabi Film Industry. He initially began his career as a video director before transitioning to singing and eventually making his acting debut in the film Rocky Mental.
Parmish started his journey as a director with the film "Zimmewari Bhukh Te Doori," which was based on his own life experiences as a young boy growing up in Australia. The film depicted the hardships he faced during that time and the advice he received from Gurikk Maan.
In 2017, Parmish made his acting debut with the film Rocky Mental, where he played the lead role. He went on to act in movies like Dil Diyan Gallan (2019), which he also wrote and directed. He has since released more movies, including "Singham" and most recently, "Jinde Meriye."
Born in Patiala, Parmish comes from a Punjabi Hindu Khatri family. His father, Satish Verma, is a theatre artist and writer, while his mother, Paramjit Verma, is a professor.
Parmish faced a life-threatening incident when he was shot by Punjab gangster Dilpreet Baba while returning home from a party. However, he recovered from the incident.
On 20 October 2021, Parmish Verma married his longtime girlfriend, Canadian politician Guneet Grewal. They welcomed their daughter named Sadaa on 30 September 2022.
