Hriday Deepak Gattani, born on January 20, 1991, is an Indian playback singer, music director, songwriter, and performer hailing from Mumbai, India. He had the privilege of being mentored by the legendary music maestro A.R. Rahman, which played a significant role in shaping his musical career.
Hriday made his Bollywood debut as a singer under the music direction of A.R. Rahman in the 2014 film "Lekar Hum Deewana Dil." He lent his voice to the songs "Maaloom" and "Tu Shining" for the movie, showcasing his talent and versatility as a singer.[5][6] He had the opportunity to pursue playback singing while studying Western Classical music at KM College of Music and Technology.
In addition to his work in films, Hriday has had the privilege of touring with A.R. Rahman for live concerts and performances, which further enhanced his musical prowess. He also recorded for A.R. Rahman's project called "One Vision," where he contributed to a song composed from the prose written by the former President of India, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.[8][9]
Hriday has collaborated with various renowned artists in the music industry. He teamed up with singer Neeti Mohan for the upbeat indie pop track "I Just Met Somebody," where Neeti sang the Hindi verses while Hriday performed the English ones.[10] He has also collaborated with Shruti Pathak on a fusion cover of "Nothing on You" and with Suchismita Das on "Let It Be."
