Undeterred, she decided to give it another try but unfortunately couldn't emerge as the winner. However, her sister's marriage in Mumbai proved to be a turning point for her as she relocated to the city to pursue her singing career.

Anita has participated in multiple reality shows including "Rising Star" and "Om Shanti Om." She gained recognition with her first hit song for a Punjabi movie called "Tera Mera Sath Hove." Her Bollywood debut came with the song "Nadaan Parinda" in the film "Azmaish." However, her breakthrough moment came when she lent her vocals to the popular song "Tera Yaar Hoon Main" in the film "Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety."

Anita draws inspiration from versatile and evergreen singers such as Lata Mangeshkar, Mohammed Rafi, Sonu Nigam, and Shreya Ghoshal, who have praised her talent. Alongside her Bollywood ventures, she has also released various singles on her YouTube channel named Anita Bhatt.
