Director
Parambrata Chattopadhyay is an Indian actor and director, born on June 27, 1980. He started his career in the Bengali television and film industry. One of his notable roles was portraying the fictional character Topshe from the Feluda detective series, directed by Sandip Ray.
Parambrata made his Hindi film debut in the critically acclaimed movie "Kahaani" in 2012, alongside Vidya Balan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Throughout his career, he has worked in a variety of Bengali films, including "Bhalo Theko" (2003), "Baishe Srabon" (2011), "Kadambari" (2017), "Anukul" (2017), "Pari" (2018), "Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi" (2019), "Dwitiyo Purush" (2020), and "Bulbbul" (2020).
In addition to acting, Parambrata Chattopadhyay has also directed films. His directorial debut was the feature film "Jiyo Kaka" (2011), starring Rituparna Sengupta and Rudranil Ghosh. He followed it up with his second directorial venture, "Hawa Bodol" (2013).
In May 2011, Parambrata, along with his colleague Rudranil Ghosh, ventured into film production. They launched their own production house called Workshop Productions Pvt. Ltd, in association with Dipak Raha of Durgandh Group.
