Neeraj Pandey is an Indian film director, producer, and screenwriter known for his work in Hindi cinema. He was born on December 17, 1973, in Howrah, West Bengal. Pandey made his directorial debut with the film A Wednesday! in 2008, which received widespread critical acclaim and won several awards. The film was praised for its gripping storyline and powerful performances.

He followed up his debut with the films Special 26 (2013) and Baby (2015). Baby, in particular, garnered critical acclaim and achieved commercial success. Pandey's directorial skills were applauded for his ability to create tension and engage audiences with his well-crafted thrillers. He also served as a producer for the film Rustom (2016).

In 2016, Pandey directed the biographical film M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, based on the life of Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The film received positive reviews and was a commercial success. Apart from directing and producing, Pandey is also a writer and has authored a novel titled Ghalib Danger in 2013.

Pandey's production company, Friday Filmworks, entered into a joint venture with Reliance Entertainment in 2016 to form Plan C Studios. He has also ventured into the digital space with the web series Special Ops, which premiered on Hotstar in March 2020. The series received critical acclaim for its gripping narrative and strong performances.

Currently, Neeraj Pandey is working on his upcoming feature film Chanakya. He continues to be recognized for his storytelling abilities and his contributions to Hindi cinema.
