Choreographer
Terence Lewis is an Indian dancer, choreographer, and singer. He is known for his work in Bollywood films, as well as for his own dance company, the Terence Lewis Contemporary Dance Company.
Lewis was born in Mumbai, India, in 1975. He began dancing at the age of four, and by the time he was a teenager, he was already performing professionally. In 1994, he moved to the United States to study dance at the Ailey School in New York City. After graduating, he returned to India and founded his own dance company.
Lewis has choreographed for a number of Bollywood films, including Lagaan (2001), Jhankaar Beats (2003), and Ram-Leela (2013). He has also choreographed for stage shows, television commercials, and music videos. In 2009, he was a judge on the reality dance show Dance India Dance.
Lewis is a versatile dancer who is known for his innovative choreography. He is also a passionate advocate for dance education, and he has founded a number of dance schools in India.
