Shubham Saraf, a talented British actor born in March 1992, has made a notable mark in both stage and screen performances. He gained recognition for his roles in acclaimed productions like the Netflix crime anthology "Criminal: UK" (2019–), the BBC One drama "A Suitable Boy" (2020), and the Apple TV+ series "Shantaram" (2022).
Born in Calcutta, Saraf spent his early childhood in Mexico and Trinidad and Tobago before settling in London at a young age. He attended St Paul's School and pursued a Bachelor of Science in Economics at the University of Warwick. Later, he honed his acting skills at the École Philippe Gaulier in Paris and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Acting from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2017.
Saraf's career includes captivating stage performances, such as his role as revolutionary Dinesh Gupta in "Lions and Tigers" and appearances in "Hamlet" and "An Adventure." On television, he portrayed Detective Constable Kyle Petit in "Criminal: UK" and Nawabzada Firoz Khan in "A Suitable Boy."
